Woods is a one-man band making Black metal with various influences incorporated.
The idea is that, as with real woods/forests, where there are lots of different living creatures and floræ but still all being forests, so does this band incorporate lots of different influences, with the core concept remaining in place.
Lyrics are inspired by, or quoted from, poets and authors of yesteryears.
